Perennials are sold throughout and often beyond the growing season. Examples include purple coneflowers, coreopsis, Black-eyed Susans, sedum, daylilies, asters, astilbe, phlox and goldenrod. A few perennials, known as “evergreen perennials” keep their leaves all winter in at least some climates.
