Heya!
• Example 1 -
Racial remarks. If someone says, "All blacks are good in sports" or "An actor must be someone who's white" then he/she is creating a stereotype.
• Example 2 -
Gender remarks. If someone says, "You're a girl, you must play with dolls" or "You're a boy, you need to be a faster runner" then he/she's creating a stereotype.
• Why are stereotypes unfair?
We're living in a democratic country where everyone has the right to equality instead of judging him by his caste/sex/race/job/appearance etc. Everyone has the right to stand in this competitive world, he/she's a human too who would never want to be judged and go through discrimination or any type of stereotype.
Hope it helps!!
