Answer:

a)Examples include wheelbarrows, staplers, bottle openers, nut cracker, and nail clippers. A great example of a Class Two Lever is a wheelbarrow. The dirt in a wheelbarrow is the Load, the Fulcrum is the wheel, and the Force is at the end of the handles where a person lifts it.

.

b)Examples of Non-Contact Force

An apple falling down from a tree is one of the best examples of non-contact force.

Iron pins attracted in the presence of a magnet bar without any physical contact.

.

c)Artificial magnets: Pieces of iron and other magnetic materials can be made to acquire the properties of natural magnets. Such magnets are called artificial magnets. The most common shapes of the artificial magnets are bar magnet, horse shoe magnet and magnetic needle, as shown in Fig. D.

.

d)Some examples of translucent objects are frosted glass, butter paper, tissue, various plastics, and so on. Opaque substances do not allow the transmission of light. Any incident light gets reflected, absorbed, or scattered.

.

e)Simple machine

Machine.

Screw.
