Friction is said to be a necessary evil as without friction ie frictionless surface so we won't be able to walk and we would not be able to hold things like spoon pen etc as they will simply slip away

example 1 : in rainy season because of water the door strucks because of over friction while opening or closing the door the may be broken.
example 2 : because of over friction on roads or bike , car , bus etc may not move from their place if we push it then the tyres may be punctured ...
