Solution:-

 Let there be a rectangle whose length is 10 cm and breadth is 8 cm.
Area of rectangle = L*B
= 10*8
= 80 sq cm
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)
= 2(10+8)
= 2*18 = 36 cm

Now,
Let there be another rectangle whose length is 20 cm and breadth is 4 cm.
Area = 20*4
= 80 sq cm
Perimeter = 2(20+4)
= 2*24
= 48 cm
So, in the above examples, area does not increase when the perimeter increases.
