1)It is suggested that people in Indus Valley worshipped a mother goddess..these were known as the Harappans,this showed a sign of fertility amoung the civilization living there.

2)During that time,Hindi Shiva was also worshipped.And many of the Phallic signs were very close to the Hindi Shiva.

Some seals were also found,which showed the Swastika.These were the signs which common amoung many religions such as:Hinduism,Buddhism and Jainism...

1)Indus people probably worshipped a mother goddess in addition to male and female dieties.
2)They also worshipped a father god,who moght have been a progenitor of the race and probably was a prototype of Siva as Lord of Animals.
3)They also believed in some kind of a tree of life,which is depicted in the seals as Pipal or Acasia tree,defended by a guardian spirit against an evil force,sumbolized ny a tiger.
