calcium hydroxide is also called as slaked like and it is used in painting purpose . sulphuric acid is used for the helpful growth of plants. sodium hydroxide are usually in the form of pellets which are used in winter seasons to melt ice. and nitric acid is also used to clean gold ornaments .

Ca(OH) 2 :

1) Clarify raw juice from sugarcane or sugar beets in the sugar industry.

2) Process water for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.

H2SO4 :

1) The major use of sulfuric acid is in the production of fertilizers, e.g., superphosphate of lime and ammonium sulfate.

2) It is widely used in the manufacture of chemicals, e.g., in making hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfate salts.

NH4OH:

1) Ammonia is used in the fertilizers as solutions or salts. Ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) is used in chemicals.

2) Ammonia is the base chemical in the manufacture of nitric .

HNO3:

1) Nitric acid is used in the production of ammonium nitrate for fertilizers, making plastics, and in the manufacture of dyes.

2) It is also used for making explosives such as nitroglycerin and TNT. When it is combined with hydrochloric acid, an element called aqua regia is formed.

NaOH :

1) It is major ingredient in drain and oven cleaners.

2) It is used in chemical manufacturing, oil refining, hydraulic fracturing, water treatment and metal processing.
