Answer:

1)Hydrogen chloride has many uses, including cleaning, pickling, electroplating metals, tanning leather, and refining and producing a wide variety of products. Hydrogen chloride can be formed during the burning of many plastics. Upon contact with water, it forms hydrochloric acid.

2)The major use of sulfuric acid is in the production of fertilizers, e.g., superphosphate of lime and ammonium sulfate. It is widely used in the manufacture of chemicals, e.g., in making hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfate salts, synthetic detergents, dyes and pigments, explosives, and drugs.

3)Nitric acid is used in the production of ammonium nitrate and calcium ammonium nitrate which find applications as fertilizers. Ammonium nitrate is also used in the manufacturing of urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) used in fertilizer formulations and also as explosives.
