The temporary hardness of water can be removed by the following process
◆●by boiling =>when it is boiled bicarbonates of calcium and mg decompose to form insoluble ca and mg
◆●by Clark process=>this is used on a commercial scale in this process calculated amount of lime is added

Temporary hardness is removed through ion exchange process, distillation, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis etc….
