Differences between Prokaryotic cell and a eukaryotic cell

The main difference between Prokaryotic cells and Eukaryotic cells is the fact that:

1) The prokaryotic cells do no have membrane bound organelles and a nucleus while the Eukaryotic cells have membrane bound organelles and a nucleus.

2) Prokaryote divide by binary fission while Eukaryotes divide through mitosis.

The other differences between the Prokaryote and the Eukaryotes are mainly structural.

Examples of Eukaryotic cells include animal and plant cells while examples of prokaryotic cells include bacterial and Archae
