{\bold{\blue{\underline{\red{A}\pink{ns}\green{we}\purple{r:-}}}}}

Distance :-

Distance is a actual path length covered by moving object.

It doesn't have unique path.

SI unit of distance is m and CGS unit of distance is cm.

It is a scaler quantity and it is always positive.

Displacement :-

Displacement is the shortest distance between initial and Final point of moving object with particular direction.

SI unit of displacement is m and CGS unit of displacement is cm.

It is a vector quantity and it may be positive, negative and zero.

\pink{\bigstar}\:\:{\underline{\boxed{\bf\purple{More\:Information}}}}

when object moves in a straight line in a single direction then distance = | Displacement |

when object moves in straight line and changes or reverse it's direction then Distance > | Displacement |
