Hey!!
(a) water is liquid at room temp. because it has no shape but have fixed volume.
*at room temp. water flow easily.
(b).An iron almirah is a solid at room temperature (25°C) because: (i) It has a definite shape and volume like a solid at room temperature.
* It is rigid as solid at room temperature..
hope it will help u....

Hey mate !!

Here's the answer !!

Statement : Water is a liquid under room temperature.

Reason :

1. Water has a boiling point of 100°C. Hence it will change to gas only if the temperature is more than 100°C.  But room temperature is only 20 - 30°C. Hence it is lower than the room temperature. Due to this it is a liquid in room temperature.

2. At the room temperature the bond attraction is weak due to which water is liquid in nature.

Statement : Iron almirah is a solid at room temperature.

Reason :

1. Iron has a melting point of 1500°C. But the room temperature is just 20-30°C. Hence it is a solid in room temperature.

2. The bonding between iron's atoms is strong under room temperature. Hence they are solids in room temperature.

Hope my answer helped !!

Cheers !!
