Solution : a. At room temperature (25°C), water is a liquid because it has the following characteristics of liquid:

(i) At room temperature, water has no shape but has a fixed volume i.e., it occupies the shape of the container in which it is kept.

(ii) At room temperature, water flows easily.

b. An iron almirah is a solid at room temperature (25°C) because: (i) It has a definite shape and volume like a solid at room temperature.

(ii) It is rigid as solid at room temperature.

Hey friend

Example 1-. Take a bottle full of coca cola and provide it the temperature about 45°C you will observe it start boiling
then the same cola provide it the temperature of 5-10°C you will find it's start freezing but when you will provide 25-27°C you will see nothing is changed and this temperature we call as room temperature

Same we can try with almirah also vice versa

Hope it helps you ☺
