Brutus told the Romans that Caesar was ambitious and had a greed to be the king of Rome. He asked the Romans about whether they would accept Caesar living and all men dead as slaves or all men living and caesar dead.

Brutus loved very much but he loved Rome more. He convinced that if Caesar lived, the Romans would be threatened as slaves by him. It was in the interest of the Romans and republicanism that ceaser were killed. There was every danger of ceaser becoming a dictator. He told the mob that we wept over ceasers death because ceaser used to love him. No doubt, ceaser was an ambitious man. According to him every man who loves for freedom should be happy at ceaser's death
