1) sugarsugar is a pure substance because its composition is homogeneous throughout .pure substance can be either element or compound . sugar is a compound with chemical formula c12 h22 o11

2)while both brass and silver have uniform composition through a brass is not a pure substance because it does not have a definite composition. brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and propositions of these two metals are very to produce brass and having different properties

3) the two elements hydrogen and oxygen are combined chemically to form water which boils at a fixed temperature....
