An artificial magnet is a magnetized piece of iron , steel . cobalt or nickel.These magnets are of different sizes and shapes.
Reasons behind making artificial magnets:
1.Artificial magnets are used in various applications in day to day life like loudspeaker,telephones,radios, television etc. So for making these devices we need powerful magnets since natural magnets are not so powerful.
2.Artificial magnets can be made in different shapes and sizes which is not possible in case of natural magnets.

Artificial magnet can be use in different shape and size which is not possible in case of natural magnet . natural magnet r usually of weak strength . further their shape and size r not convenient for practical use . to overcome these limitations artificial permanent magnets r prepared with required shape , size nd strength .


artificial magnet r used for making devices like TELEVISION, TELEPHONE ETC .
