resources are to be saved for the future generation
most of the resources are non renewable in in nature
so once if they get depleted, it takes millions of years again for them to get renewed
over utilisation and irrational consumption of resources may lead to the depletion of the resources
so we need to use our resources judiciously.

Resources include food, water, basic amenities, electricity etc. We should use the resources judiciously so that each and every individual gets sufficient amount of resources. Not only human beings but other organisms also need resources though not all as required by humans. Moreover, the resources are very limited as all resources are not renewable. Also, the population is growing at an exponential rate. So, to cater the needs of growing population and future generations, resources should be used judiciously by us.
