give two reasons why tea is grown in Assam, Nilgiri and Darjeeling not in Punjab

Answer:

Assam is the largest producer of tea in the world . It has the largest number of plantation in the whole world. It has a suitable climate and the land condition of Assam is one which is suitable for growing tea whereas Punjab climatic and soil condition is not suitable for growing tea.
