Explanation:

1) Avoid cemented furrow for both irrigation and sewage water. The water that flows in these non cemented furrow goes down and increases the ground water table.

2) Vegetation increases ground water table due to absorption of water coming from rainfall.

3) Use flood irrigation as compared to drip irrigation.
