Radius of cylinder =40 cm

Let height of the water level in cylinder be H.

Since, same water is transferred into another cylindrical container

Therefore,

Volume of water in rectangular container = volume of water in cylinder

Length × Breadth × Height of water level =π(radius)2× level in cylinder

440×200×4=722×(40)2×H

H=22×40×40440×200×4×7

H=2×1040×5×7

H=12×5×7

H=70 cm

Hence, Water level in cylinder will be 70 cm.
