hey mate I am gonna explain you but in short...

portia said to Shylock that if Antonio was now paying him the money so why couldn't he accept it but shylock answered that he was late and as the bond said that Antonio had to pay the money at time and was failed, so Shylock wanted his flesh at any cost and that too right near his heart.

Portia said him then to repeat what was in the bond and Shylock said that the bond says, that if Antonio failed to pay him the amount at time with interest then he would have to cut a pound of flesh from the place nearest to his heart.

she asked him to repeat that once again and Shylock did. later he was getting annoyed as he couldn't understand why he had to repeat it several times and even asked her and Portia replied that he would come to know about it later...

now after Shylock repeats the words, Portia asks him to cut out Antonio's flesh but not a single drop of blood should come out as he only wanted the flesh. this annoyed him alot and then he told her that how was it possible.., if he cuts or the flesh then blood has to come out.. and then Portia says that this was the reason why she wanted him to repeat the words so many times and then Antonio was safe and Shylock could not do anything.

Hope it helped you'll guys and any further questions on it so please do not hesitate....

thank \: you \infty
