Hydroelectric plants are not environment friendly in many ways because hydroelectric plants are built in river for which dams are constructed, these dams stop the flow of river water towards an area which cause a great threat to the lives of animals, vegetations and aquatic lifeforms of that area. These factors also leads to droughts causing a great loss to the environment. Thus hydroelectric plants are not environment friendly.
