There are many things in life which cause a persons ego to boost and to bring about a certain self appeal in ones self. Such laurels, admirations and appraisals are the things which matter in life to some people whereas they are of zero value to other people. This depends on the mind set of people and their nature. Some people are too smart and can easily identify fake praises for the sake of selfishness whereas others may be naive at times and become easily happy when they are treated with praises.
A person must be smart to handle laurels in a proper manner. This is so because it is a matter of great concern to show gratitude when admirations come your way.
In my opinion admiration and laurels should be handled wisely and carefully. If someone admires you and praise you that means they have a respect for you. You are getting admired by achieving something in your life and you can be an inspiration for someone else. Instead of showing attitude on your success you should be down to earth and take everything lightly. If someone praises you should say thank you and give motivation to them instead of showing negativity.
