2)The non alignment was a movement which was formed during the cold war. It was initiative of then Yugoslav Persident Josip Broz Tito. It was necessary as an organization of states who did not seek to align themselves either with the Soviet Union or the United States, but remained independent.
3)There were various side-effects of the cold war like the discredit of UN and it gave birth to nuclear weapon competition. The most prominent effects on human welfare are: A fear of war and terror was spread all around the world. Huge treasuries of various countries were spent in it.
4)The Russia can come up as a super power as the competitor of the US.
