Ahhaa What a question ✌✌

Here is Your Answer

That is the question I intend to try to answer, not what do I think of Trump himself, or of his policies per se. In the latter case, imagine Trump had executed on everything he promised to do - that is to say, exactly what we thought we were getting, we got. Those who hate Trump would still say his presidency is a disaster. because they are opposed to his views, such as they are. To call the presidency a failure because you don’t like what his policy positions are strikes me as a flawed means to evaluate it.

Donald Trump is an immensely wealthy American, who has always had ideas for improving this country. Many of the brighter economists, television hosts, and analysts have always said that Trump’s ideas were the no-bull prescriptions that this nation needed.

Around 2015, in the run-up to the Republican Primaries, Trump decided to throw his hat into the ring. From the beginning, he was a contender.

Trump has his own communication style, largely borrowed from the people he spent his early life with — construction workers. People in the trades, people who use colorful language, exaggeration and hyperbole, but who GET THINGS DONE.

The Republican primary field was large and very well qualified; amazingly Trump dominated it from the first. It was no real surprise that he became the Republican contender, against Hillary Clinton.

And none of us should have been amazed that he won, either. Many people HATE the liberal, politically correct ethos of the Democrat Party. A lot of those people opposed to the Democrats live in the Red States, the center of the continent, often called the fly-over areas.

Those people who did not expressly vote against Hillary Clinton voted for Trump because he recommended solutions for getting the U.S. out of the extended malaise that had held the country down for years.

Specifically, he called for reducing the income tax burden on corporates and individuals. Renegotiating trade deals to benefit the U.S. Forcing other countries to do more to support NATO and the UN. Dropping out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Paris Accord. Drastically reducing regulations on businesses and individuals. Making public lands available to drilling, and increasing the number of pipelines.

To so many of us, his ideas were a long-sought panacea, policies conservative politicians had talked about for years, but which always seemed to get lost

somewhere after they were elected. Trump sounded different — he sounded like a guy who got things done. Maybe it was working for years in a construction site, but he sounded sincere.

It really is amazing how much that Trump promised, he has achieved.

And the economy is doing amazingly well.

Still. Trump has been working against a headwind no other President has had to face. The Dems who supported Hillary have allied against him, and would just as soon see the whole country destroyed as give him any support. The media has been opposed to Trump 91% to 8% in their articles and stories. And, most trying of all, the Obama White House , supported by progs in the F.B.I. and other intelligence services, concocted a narrative supported by a deeply fictionalized narrative authored by a British former intelligence officer that essentially accused Trump of conspiring with Russia.

BEST OF LUCK ^_^
