Solution :-

→ 15cotA = 8

→ cotA = 8/15 = b/p = BC/AB

From Pythagoras theorem

⇒ AC² = AB² + BC²

⇒ AC² = (15)² + (8)²

⇒ AC² = 225 + 64

⇒ AC² = 289

⇒ AC = √289

⇒ AC = 17

Now

  • sinA = p/h = AB/AC = 15/17
  • cosA = b/h = BC/AC = 8/17
  • tanA = p/b = AB/BC = 15/8
  • cosecA = h/p =AC/AB = 17/15
  • secA = h/b = AC/BC = 17/8
