Given : 4 sin^2 x = 1 find : x find : sin 2x find sin 3x

Answer :

★ x = 30°

★ sin 2x = 60°

★ sin 3x = 90°

Given :

  • 4 sin²x = 1

To find :

The value of :-

  • x
  • sin 2x
  • sin 3x

Solution :

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf  {4 \sin}^{2}x  = 1

• Transposing 4 to the other side.

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf  { \sin}^{2}x  =  \dfrac{1}{4}

• Taking square root on ¼ and removing the square on sin²x.

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf   \sin \: x  =   \sqrt\dfrac{1}{4}

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf   \sin \: x  =   \dfrac{1}{2}

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf But \:   \sin  \: 30^{\circ} \:  =  \: \dfrac{1}{2}

 \: \:  \: \sf   \sin \: x \:  = \sin30^{ \circ}

 \longrightarrow \quad  \sf    \not\sin \: x \:  =  \not\sin30^{ \circ}

 \therefore \sf \purple{ x = 30^{ \circ}}

The value of x = 30°.

→ sin 2x :-

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \sin \: 2x

  \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \sin \: 2 \times 30^{ \circ}

  \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \red{ \sin2x =  \: 60^{ \circ}}

→ sin 3x :-

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \sin 3x

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \sin 3 \times  {30}^{ \circ}

 \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \sin {90}^{ \circ}

  \longrightarrow \quad \sf  \red{ \sin3x =  \: 90^{ \circ}}
