Given 8 points how many distinct lines can be drawn through two points

We will get a line when we connect two points through the shortest distance. So we can draw 10 lines from 5 points. If the points are colinear, no matter how many number of points there are, you can only construct one line from those colinear points. And it's given that 3 points are colinear.
