f(x) = mx +n
f(-3) = -3m + n = 19
f(4)  =  4m + n =  -9
--------------------------- -
            -7m = 28
               m = -4

4m + n = -9
4 x (-4) + n = -9
-16 + n = -9
n = 16 - 9
n = 7

f(x) = mx + n
f(x) = -4x + 7

f(-5) = -4 . -5 + 7
f(-5) = 20 + 7
f(-5) = 27

F(×)=mx+n----(1)
i)F((-3)=19
m(-3)+n=19
-3m+n=19-----(2)
ii)F(4)=-9
m(4)+n=-9
4m+n=-9----(3)
Subtract (3) from (2) we get
-7m=28
m=28/-7
m=-4
Put m=-4 in (3) we get
n=7
Now
iii) F(-5)=(-4)(-5)+7
=20+7
=27
