Find the area of triangle ADE.

hey mate here is your answer
in triangle ABC by Pythagoras theorem
ac²=ab²+bc²
BC=√(15²-12²)
=✓225-144=√81=9cm
now in triangle ABC and triangle ade
ade=ABC........90
a=a.....ca
ade~abc......a
so by cpct
ae/ac=de/BC
ae=3/9×15
=5cm
now area of triangle ade=1/2×b×h
=1/2×3×5
=7.5cm²
