a) its because if i give the force in a small area there will be more pressure so a knife contract with sharp way

b) if the builings construct in a narrow basement the building will not be much stable than the builing in a wider basement

c) if the sewing needle is sharp the force will be given in a small area in the cloth other wise the force will be needed more to sew the cloth.
