These salts are made after the reaction of an acid and a base. So, the acid and the base present in the following salts are given as follows;-
- Magnesium Carbonate can be formed after the reaction of Magnesium Chloride (acid) and Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate (base). It is basic in nature.
- Potassium Chloride can be formed after the reaction of Potassium Hydroxide (base) and Hydrogen Chloride (acid). It is neutral salt because it is formed by the reaction of strong acid and strong base.
- Aluminium Sulphate can be formed after the reaction of Aluminium Hydroxide (base) and Sulphuric Acid (acid). It is acidic in nature.
- Sodium Nitrate can be formed after the reaction of Nitric acid (acid) and Sodium Carbonate (base). It is neutral salt because it is formed by the reaction of strong acid and strong base.
