1) Infinite Solutions:

3 x - 2 y = 4 and 9 x - 6 y = 12

As they satisfy a₁/a₂ = b₁/b₂ = c₁/c₂

⇒ 3/9 = -2/-6 = 4/12

⇒ 1/3 = 1/3 = 1/3

2) Unique solution:

3 x - 2 y = 4 and 6 x + 2 y = 4

As they satisfy a₁/a₂ ≠ b₁/b₂

⇒ 3/6 ≠ -2/2

⇒ 1/2 ≠ -1
