This cell is a Plant cell, as it contains a big central vacuole and some chloroplast present, which are absent in any normal animal cell. Hence, it is a Plant cell.

a). The parts 1 to 7 are as:-

  • 1 is Chloroplast. Chloroplast contains chlorophyll which traps the sunlight and makes food for the plant by using CO2 and Water.
  • 2 is Vacuole. A large central vacuole is the characteristic feature of the Plant cell. The outer membrane of Vacuole is called tonoplast. Vacuole stores all the waste material and extra water of the plant.
  • 3 is Mitochondria. Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. It is the main area and the controlling unit of the plant cell and helps in the production of ATP.
  • 4 is Cytoplasm. Cytoplasm is the central arena where all the activities of the Plant cell takes place.
  • 5 is Nucleus. Nucleus carries the genetic information of any person and also regulates all the activities of the cell.
  • 6 is Plasma Membrane. Plasma membrane is selectively permeable and allows only certain molecules to pass through it. It keeps check on the transport of material in and out of the cell.
  • 7 is Cell Wall. Cell wall is the outermost layer of the Plant Cell. It provides strength to the cell.

b). It is a Plant cell, because

  • There is a large central vacuole present which you will not find in the animal cell, as the Vacuole in animal cell is small. So, the large central vacuole is the characteristic feature of Plant cell.
  • Also, Presence of cell wall confirms that the cell is a Plant Cell, as the Cell Wall is absent in all the Animal cells.

c). Functions of the following parts are:-

  • Chloroplast helps in trapping the sunlight of different wavelengths to make food for the plant. It also contains chlorophyll.
  • Nucleus controls and checks all the activities of the plant cell. Also, it is the store house of the genetic information i.e. DNA and chromosomes.
  • Cell Wall is the outermost layer of the Plant cell. It maintains the cell shape and structure. It also provides strength to the plant cell and maintains the turgidity of plant cell.
