How many people think of saving the environment by taking an initiative on an individual level, not many. But recently a duo of a brother and sister were honoured for their effort on an individual level to do something for saving the environment and their effort had made a great change in the society. Every neighbour of theirs has been involved in this due to their efforts.
The municipal council, impressed with their work has honoured them with the title "the green warriors".
This title was given to them for their practice of turning their terrace into a herb and vegetable garden and using the trash plastic bottles as the pots for their gardening. They not only themselves followed this practice but also involved their neighbours in the same. Their initiative brought a small revolution in the neighbourhood and everyone started following their practice and contributed their contribution to saving the environment.

This was after the two started a peacefully and educative revolution on how waste especially plastic was handled in their neighbourhood.
The two concieved an idea which entailed recycling plastic waste which they molded into plastic containers for planting herbs on their roof tops.
When they saw it as being a viable idea, they spread it to their neighbors who agreed and adoplted it.
Their neighborhood ran short of plastic waste and became clean and green again.
On realizing this, the Municipal council adopted the Idea.
