Answer:

Dont stop keep going

Explanation:

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. This statement is very true .Espacially when we see sports women like Saniya Mirza, Saina Nehwal,Geeta Phogat,Babita,Phogat, Marycom to name a few. These sports divas joined Sports when the sports facilities were not this luxurious like they are today and there were not many people who encouraged these women to take up sports as their career.

But these women they listened to their hearts and they gave their 100 percent performances. When we read about Sportswomen from districts like north East and Haryana,we know how tough it is for women there because the society is patriarchy who do not allow women to move out of home. The men in patriarchal societies confine women only to homes and get their teenage daughters married and dont allow them to have a career.

Therefore this is really appreciable that Shri Mahavir Singh Phogat allowed his daughter s to get trained and choose wrestling kushti as their career. Therefore as a parent we must always allow our children to play along with studies .Sports are equally important for us.

Today boys are taking up sports as a career but not many girls are interested in sports .This is really sad. Dear girls have some courage and be honest towards your dreams. Tell your parents that you want to take up this sport and you will balance your studies along with sports. Your parents won't stop you if you can make them believe that you can do it. First be sure yourself then help your parents understand.

Answer:

A short motivational article for the school magazine aiming towards encouraging girls to take up sports:

Explanation:

Sports is not a Waste of Time

Had the leading female sportspeople thought it to be a waste of time, then an inspiring history wouldn’t have taken shape. Looking at Saina Nehwal and Sania Mirza, the present women in the field of sports, are not only famous for their performance but also an inspiration for girls and women of our generation and will also be for the future generations. They are the embodiment of never giving up. Their excellence has reached this level because of their hard work and strict mentoring.

Saina Nehwal from Hisar in Haryana, shifted with her parents to Hyderabad when she was very young. She started training with Nani Prasad first in a stadium which was 25 km away from her home. Then she was coached by S.M. Arif, Vimal Kumar and P. Gopichand to become a professional badminton singles player. A right-handed player, Nehwal has many international titles. In 2009, she was at the number 2 position but as of 2015, she is the number 1. Also, she made India proud by winning an Olympic medal and for her contributions has been awarded many awards at the National level. Similarly, Sania Mirza, trained with her father in lawn tennis since the age of six, went on to play ITF tournaments and made her journey up to winning several Wimbledon titles. All these achievements didn’t come in a day’s time. They struggled, failed, trained and tried. The downs of their life groomed them into strong women of substance.

We too should learn from them and take some sports to groom ourselves. Being engaged in sports makes us energetic, is good for our body and helps us master a positive mindset. So, Sports is not a Waste of Time, it is training.
