We have given a function f(x)= -2x+2

At x=6 ,just put the given X's value into the f(x)

Note : Any change in f(x) will cause a change in the function.

Now ,our function is f(x) and we have to find f(6) now compare the coefficient of f(x) with f(6) , we find x=6

So,we have to find the value of f(x) at x=6

at x= 6

=>f(x)= -2x +2

=>f(6)= -2(6)+2

=>f(6)=-12+2

=>f(6)= -10

Therefore ,f(6) is -10

Extra information=>

➥The above function is a linear equation as highest power is 1.

➥f(x)=y here ,f is the function and x is an input which gives output say 'y'.

➥We can find infinite number of output of f(x) by putting infinite number of values into f(x).

Given

  • f(x)=-2x+2

To find:-

  • f(6)

Putting 6 in place of "x"

  • now,

f(6)=-2×(6)+2
