if f(x)=3x⁴-5x³+x²+8
f(-1/2)= 3×(-1/2)⁴+5×(-1/2)³+(-1/2)²+8
= 3×1/16-5×(-1/8)+1/4+8
=3/16+5/8+1/4+8
=(3+10+4+128)/16
=145/16
f(1)=3×1-5×1+1+8
=3-5+1+8
=7
f(-1)=3×1-5×(-1)+1+8
=3+5+1+8
=17
f(-1/3)=3×(-1/3)⁴-5×(-1/3)³+(-1/3)²+8
=1/27+5/27-1/9+8
(= 1+5-3+216)/27
219/27=8.1
hope dis help
f(-1/2)= 3×(-1/2)⁴+5×(-1/2)³+(-1/2)²+8
= 3×1/16-5×(-1/8)+1/4+8
=3/16+5/8+1/4+8
=(3+10+4+128)/16
=145/16
f(1)=3×1-5×1+1+8
=3-5+1+8
=7
f(-1)=3×1-5×(-1)+1+8
=3+5+1+8
=17
f(-1/3)=3×(-1/3)⁴-5×(-1/3)³+(-1/3)²+8
