Given: f(x) = 5x + 1 and g(x) = 3x + 7

Evaluate: (2f - 7g)(-2)

2f = 2(5x+1) = 10x + 2

7g = 7(3x +7) = 21x + 49

2f - 7g = 10x+2 - 21x - 49 = - 11x - 47

(2f - 7g)(-2) = -11(-2) - 47 = 22-47 = - 25
