hcf(p,q)* lcm(p,q) = p*q
4*lcm=16*100=1600
lcm=1600/4=400

LCM(16,100) = 400

HOPE IT HELPS YOU DEAR

Answer:

400

Step-by-step explanation:

HCF: Highest Common Factor is the full form for HCF in mathematics.

According to the laws of mathematics, the highest positive integer that divides two or more positive integers without leaving a residual is known as the greatest common divisor, or gcd. Consider the numbers 8 and 12. The largest number that can divide both 8 and 12 is 4, hence the H.C.F. of 8 and 12 will be 4.

LCM: The full form of LCM in Maths is Least Common Multiple.

In arithmetic, the least common multiple or LCM of two numbers say a and b, is denoted as LCM (a,b). And the LCM is the smallest or least positive integer that is divisible by both a and b.

HCF and LCM Formula:

Product of Two numbers = (HCF of the two numbers) x (LCM of the two numbers)

Given Numbers are 16, 100

HCF(16,100) =4

So,

Product of Two numbers = (HCF of the two numbers) x (LCM of the two numbers)

16\times100=4\timesLCM\\\Rightarrow LCM=\frac{16\times100}{4} \\\Rightarrow LCM=400
