KOP is similar to KLM

Area of KOP=2cm²

Area of KLM=16+8 cm²=18 cm²

Area of KOP/Area of KLM=(l1/l2)²

2/18=(3/3+x)²

(3+x)²=18×9÷2

(3+x)²=81

3+x=9

x=9-3

x=6 cm

PM is 6 cm
