We know that

Mode = 3 × Median - 2 × Mean

= 3 × 20.84 - 2 × 21.76

= 62.52 - 43.52

= 19

Result :-

Mode = 19

Empirical relationship:

It is a relationship between mean, median and mode.

To find the mode value,

Difference between 3(median) and 2(mean)

is used.

That is,

Mode = (3 * median) - (2* mean)

Given that,

Mean    = 21.76

Median = 20.84

Substituting mean and median values in the formula,

Mode = (3*20.84)-(2*21.76)

         = 62.52-43.52

         = 19

The mode value is 19
