Given n resistors each of resistance R, how will you combine them to get the i) Maximum ii) Minimum effective resistance. what is the ratio of the maximum to minimum resistance​

to get maximum resistance we should combine the resistors in series and to get the minimum resistance we should combined the resistors in parallel

let us consider some n resistors

so

max resistance=R+R+R........upto n=nR

minimum resistance=1/R+1/R+1/R.......upto n=n/R

ratio of maximum resistance to minimum resistance is

=nR/(n/R)

= R²:1
