Let the breadth be x m and Length be ( x + 15 ) m

Perimeter = 170

 \mathbf{we \:  \: know \:  \:  \:  \: perimeter \:  = 2(length \:  + breadth}

Hence,

2( x + x + 15 ) = 170

=> 2x + 15 = 170 / 2

=> 2x = 85 - 15

=> x = 70 / 2

=> x = 35

Hence, length is ( x + 15 ) = ( 35 + 15 ) = 50 m

Here is the answer mate
Give perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
Then let length be x and breadth be x+15
So 2(x+x+15)=170
4x+30=170
by substituting the values
170-30
140=4x
x=140/4
therefore length =27.5
and breadth =42.5
