Given reason Ice at 0c appear cold in the mouth than water at 0c

Because Ice at 0° C has the latent energy of crystallization . Ice has more energy than water at 0° C because it has energy which is used to change the state of water from liquid to solid but it doesn't cause decrease in temperature.
