Since the diagonals of any rhombus are perpendicular, the diagonals form 4 congruent right triangles. You can now use the Pythagorean theorem (using half the diagonal lengths as the leg lengths) to find the hypotenuse aka the side length of the rhombus.

You know that the diagonals bisect each other.

SO, In △ DMC

Sides DM and MC are 12 of BD and AC respectively.

Now you know the lengths of two sides containing the right angle in a right-angled triangle, you can easily find the third side i.e. AC by using the Pythagoras Theorm.

And all the sides of a rhombus are equal so you have your answer.
