given sin A=3/5 find a) tan A b) cos A

rutvi3: with method please
Anonymous: first you use triangle and set all sides according to quation
rutvi3: then
Anonymous: sinA =perpendicular/hypot so sinA=3/5 so 3=perpendicular and 5 is hypotenious.. use pytagors and find base or base =4 ....
rutvi3: a can add one more same question can you solve it with the figure
Anonymous: then tanA =perpendicular/base so tanA =3/4
Anonymous: ok

sinA=3/5 (because sine =p/h
hence b=root (25-9)=4
tanA=p/b and cosA =b/h
so,
tanA=3/4
cosA=4/5

rutvi3: figure
Anonymous: rutvi triangle bna lo
rutvi3: Ok
