Answer:

sin =

 \frac{oposite \: to \: angle}{hypotnuse}

given

opposite side of triangle = 3

hypotnuse = 5

the adjacent side of triangle is = 4 (by pythogaras thereom ssum of squares of two sides = hypotnuse square)

therefore

cosA =

 \frac{adjacent  \: to \: angle}{hypotnuse}

cosA =

 cos \: a \:  = \frac{4}{5}

tanA =

tan \: a \:  =  \frac{opposite \: side \: to \: anle}{adjacent \: side \: of \: an \: angle}

tan \: a =  \frac{3}{4}
