Answer:

\bf270\times 14=3780\\ \bf 270\times 16=4320

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

270\times 15=4050\\ We've\ to\ find, \\ a. 270\times 16\\ b. 270\times 14

Now, I ain't going to solve this sum directly, but, I'll use the given hint!

So, first, you should know, which idea I'll use, So, for eg. recite the table of 6.

6×1=6 -(1)

6×2=12 -(2)

6×3=18 -(3)

6×4=24 -(4)

6×5=30 -(5)

This much is ok!

So now, Subtract eq. 4 by eq. 5 i.e. subtract (6×4) by (6×5)

》 (6×5)-(6×4)

》 30-24

》6

And, similarly, if you, subtract an equation by the previous one, you'll get a constant as 6.

And, vice-versa, if you add 6 to eq. 5, you'll get 36, i.e. you'll get the next number. So, maths is boring, but numbers are interesting!

So, This, is how I'll solve this problem (remember, the rule is universal!, i.e. applicable for every number).

Now, we know 270×15=4050

And 1st, we've to find 270×14. So, as I told above, subtract 270 from (270×15) i.e. subtract 270 from 4050, you'll get, 3780, therefore, 270×14=3750.

Now, we've to find, 270×16, just simply add 270 to (270×15) i.e. add 270 to 4050, you'll get 4320. Therefore 270×16=4320

This all this just because, successive multiple of a number is the addition of the initial number to the previous one and vice-versa is also applicable.
