Given :    a = (-4) and b = (3) (3) (-5)   3a - 2b = (x) (y)

To find : Values of x & y

Solution:

a = (-4)   = -4

b = (3) (3) (-5)  = -45

3a - 2b = (x) (y)

=> 3(-4) - 2(-45)  =  (x) (y)

=> -12 + 90 = xy

=> 78  = xy
